Yes we do cater
Yes
Yes and they have a senior menu as well.
Yes they do,no preservatives so needs refrigeration even before opening. They don't always have some ready for sale but usually can wait and they will get it.
The food is prompt and delicious. The staff is always so polite, courteous and friendly. We've never had a bad experience.
The burnt ends were awesome! The beef brisket was ok. Overall, great service!
Brownie (kinda like burnt ends, but juicier) sandwich is awesome. Really unique, tangy sauce. Laid back atmosphere and nice people.
Sneads is my favorite Barbecue in Kansas City and that is saying a lot because there are great Barbecue places here. Try the Log sandwich and burnt ends. Perfect!
I've heard about Sneeds all my life but can only remember eating there once. My husband wanted to try it today, while the restaurants are shut down for dine in. He did not like it that well, he is dedicated to Jack's Stack. I loved it. I thought the chopped loose meat sandwich, called The Log was just as good if not better than JS. I loved the fries, they remind me of old fashioned Suzie Q's, beans and slaw were great. The manager was difficult to deal with when I asked to split the ticket and after trying to explain what I wanted for a couple if minutes, just gave up and let him do it his way. He also was stauch on not splitting sides but, oh well. If the food was not so good and such a reasonable price I would have taken off for that. I'm looking forward to trying the mushrooms.
We gave Snead’s a one-star rating only because the carry out service was quick. We tried the pulled pork sandwich and a two meat combo. The pulled pork was ok but it didn’t have much flavor. The sliced sausage was more like bologna and was not good. The fries were oily, the coleslaw was very sweet and both of the bbq sauces were unique in taste but not in a good way. We were looking forward to trying a new local restaurant but were very disappointed.
Great food , great service! The people are so nice . The prime rib dinner Friday and Saturday nights such a treat !
Great food and service. Highly recommend!
Great BBQ and are waitress was awesome.
Have a chef salad out of this world!! Really good! Kind of out of the way but worth it.
Great tasting bbq from one of Kansas City's longtime restaurants! Will definitely be back again!
Good burnt ends. Good brisket and Turkey. Hand cut fries are pretty good. The Cole slaw tastes good, but you only get about 2 tablespoons.
It was pretty good BBQ for that area. The service was awesome. I would go back again.
I just like their dishes. I always get fantastic customer service here. The place is always clean and the employees are always nice. Keep up the good work.
You will love their beans, they are the best. Friday and Saturday nights prime rib - some of the best you will find and the price is great. Friendly staff. You will leave full and happy!
I love sneads BBQ by far better than the famous "jackstack" or " Gates." Ribs are gread, and so are their burnt ends. If you go you have to try the beans.
4 of us. Had beef dinner with fries, small Cole slaw, pickles, toast. It was delicious! I really liked the original hot sauce, others had the mild. Fries were great. Could not be better. Service by young man was impeccable.
One of the best in KC. Food is amazing. And their desert will put a few pounds on ya. Definately need to share if u r watching ur weight. And there is plenty left.
Super nice staff! I consider myself a BBQ connoisseur and this place, OMG! I could probably buy out their entire supply of beans.. I would drive 100 miles to eat here hands down.
I have lived in Belton for about 11 years and this was my first time in, I am so sorry I waited so long!! We both tried the burnt ends (brownies) and ribs and they were so good! Everything was good!!! The place was clean the people were very nice, we will definitely be going back!!!
They call them brownies, but every where else calls them burnt ends. Brownies are a superior product by far. Best value in good KC BBQ around. Been coming here since 1980's because it's always fresh. It's not fancy. It's everyday folks that like to eat local.
To be fair this was my first visit and maybe I should have asked for the half chicken. Instead I purchased the large beef sandwich. What a mistake. The meat was incrediblydry and void of flavor. The restaurant was extremely dark inside. Nine dollars and three cents worth of disappointment in a Styrofoam container. The two stars are for the professionalism of the cashier.
Fast, great price for the amount of food. All the meats they have are great. Their mac and cheese is homemade and it is awesome. Their side salad is huge that come with the prime rib dinner. The prime rib is amazing as well as their BBQ
I've lived in south KC and Belton for over 20 years and finally decided to give Snead's a try today while buying fireworks. This ribs were not that great and the brisket was pretty dry and just OK. The fries were excellent. Fried okra pretty good.Should have given them 1 star for none of the employees wearing a mask during Coronavirus at a time that all of KC and the entire state of Kansas requires them in public. None of the customers wearing them either beside me.
Their brownies are the best (burnt ends) top 3 in KC for sure! And the Mac and cheese, OMG tis awesome!
This restaurant is clearly one of the coolest place to eat in the region. Whenever I visit this place I am very satisfied. They hold their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Lots of changes. Prices are higher. No substitutions on complimentary coleslaw. Can't get pulled pork on one meat plate but you can on two meat plate. And last but not least server wasn't friendly. My worst visit.
The service was good. The food was okay but their prices are high..large burnt end dinner has 2 more pieces of meat than small burnt end dinner! Tasted and the texture was like roast beef. It has changed through the years. Was a treat to eat there but not so much anymore.
Food was great. Service was great
Love, love, love this place! Great food with very good service. The prices are fairly good for a BBQ joint. Some of the best sauces you’ll try. And, the sweat tea is fantastic!
I have been eating here since the 60's and the quality is first rate! I highly recommend the Burnt End Sandwich and the Pulled Pork Sandwich! Awesome!
Amazing food for the price. Had BBQ here with the whole family after our wedding Rehearsal last month. I would Recommend this place to anyone.
My family got carry out twice in two weeks and it was the best bbq ever! We're glad to support this local business!
This place has declined since the family sold it. The meat is poor quality and the wait staff is surly. The final straw was being asked to leave as we had seven FAMILY members wanting to sit together on Father’s Day and were told they would be fined if we sat together. Wrong! They need to read the “guidelines” again before they rudely demand family members to sit apart. Missouri has reopened and they were never ordinances only guidelines. I will never be back and I will tell everyone I know how horribly we were treated. Bill Snead would roll over in his grave to see how this person has destroyed his legacy. Never again
Awesome food and great service. The pork tenderloin sandwich was fabulous. Very moist and tender. I'll definitely go back!
Service was good. My order was hot and dry. My beef sandswich was a good portion. The meat was dry. Put BBQ sauce on the meat. Still dry. That's why the 2 stars.
I try to find the positive in most of the places that we go. But for "fast service local BBQ" Not here. It was recommended by a local as good inexpensive food and great service. It took forever for us to get our food but they did us a favor by not serving it hot. I find it hard to describe the flavor of the meat because there was none. The best part of the meal was my grandson's Mac and Cheese it was pretty tasty. Not a very good accolade for a BBQ joint. Will save my efforts for real BBQ.
I was here on the weekend, and have come here previously many times for lunch which was always fantastic, but this time I have to complain as the portion sizes where terrible, the order wasn't completely correct as they gave me a side of sweet fries instead of putting it in my meal. But the takeout experience less than compelling as I always had reasonable portions and wanted to share it however even I was disappointed and wondered if it's cause I didn't eat in.
This was my first time eating here. They have delicious food, friendly staff & good prices. Definitely recommend.
Do you like delicious BBQ? Do you like paying a fair price for delicious BBQ and then eating it in a comfortable dining room while being taken care of by very friendly servers? If so, go to Snead's BBQ. Of course we've all eaten A LOT of BBQ around these parts. Snead's is up there with the best of them. This place has been around forever, and they know how to prepare and smoke all the best meats. I personally love the sliced brisket and their burnt ends. Their pork tenderloin sandwich (which is in the picture I've included) is huge and is a favorite for my family, and their burgers are great! Everyone will find something they love at Snead's.
The decor is out of the 1956, but for the last 64 years they have been serving top-notch BBQ. The burnt ends (which they call "brownies") are the best I have had - a perfect balance of tenderness, smoke, seasoning and fat; and are offered in beef, ham and sausage. The chicken is impressive as well - moist and tender with great smoky flavor. I haven't had everything from the menu yet (I live 45 minutes away), but anytime I am in the Belton area, I'm looking for an excuse to stop in for more.
Amazing as usual don't get there as often as I'd like but I always leave with a couple jars of sauce to tie me over.
Delicious with attentive service. Best Bar B Que in the KC area
We set up a family get together there. Very easy to work with. Dining area is rustic, but spacious. Waitress took good care of us and visited the table frequently. Food is good with huge servings.
Slaw was better than KFC with a little spice, great Pork ribs were my favorite meat there and fell off the bonePulled pork was pretty goodBurt ends weren't as think as I'm used toBeans were good, had more onion than most other KC BBQFries were fresh cut and served hot, but I recommend they add seasoning salt or just any salt!Sauce was good and on sweet side, hot sauce was thick like a bisque and lots of vinegar My Dr Pepper soda didn't taste quite right and maybe they need their fountain recalibratedIf you get a carry out order, be sure to check for napkins and silverware and saltTons of parking, probably the best parking of any KC BBQ and can accommodate trucks with trailersPlenty of seating and can accommodate large groups but it feels like an old bingo hall.Staff was friendly. Bathrooms clean.
Fireworks stand is amazing!! Recommend to all
I see a lot of positive reviews bet my brisket sandwich was like dried up cardboard. Hopefully just one bad experience but I doubt I will try it again.
Best burnt barbecue ends of my life! (They called them brownies.) Ok - they were the first one I’ve ever tried. But they were delicious! So juicy and full of flavor. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in the area again. I think they have the friendliest waitstaff I have ever encountered. Keep up the great service and food!
Always friendly, fast and good food. If you are looking for fancy go to Jack Stacks. If you want a BBQ joint with some history go to Sneads.
Tasty little place.
